"CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME"

Imagen
Hello everyone! Today I'm going to write about some changes to my study programme. In my curriculum I would like to change the subjects that can only be taken by passing another one, there are some that have nothing or little to do with the subject to be taught, an example of this is electromagnetism, that by passing it you can take cell physiology and honestly, this subject does not deal with anything but small concepts of electromagnetism. I would like the university infrastructure to have more spaces for recreation and to de-stress, since most of the time we have many free hours between classes where we are tired, and it would be a good idea to implement more recreational areas. I would also like there to be more study rooms, since most of the time we are left without them, and we must study where it is noisy or even in another faculty. Regarding the teachers' methods I would like to see more test type exercises applied and to make the class more interactive. Also avoid occ...

TIME TO TRAVEL TO PAST OR FUTURE

Imagen
Hi everyone! Today I'm going to talk about time travel to the past. I would like to travel back to the past to meet John Turner, more specifically when his first watercolour, A View of the Archbishop's Palace, Lambeth was accepted for the Royal Academy summer exhibition of 1790 when Turner was 15. Joseph Mallord William Turner, known in his time as William Turner, was an English Romantic painter, printmaker and watercolourist. He is known for his expressive colouring, imaginative landscapes and turbulent, often violent marine paintings. He left behind more than 550 oil paintings, 2,000 watercolours, and 30,000 works on paper. I would stay to know what it was to be an artist in those times, as I find that another value was given to art, a point of view more focused on the human being, on religion and beauty in the dark. I am also intrigued to know why Turner painted only landscapes, and how he started in the world of watercolor, how were his beginnings, I wish I could have...

My Dream Job

Imagen
Hello everyone! Today's blog is about my dream job. Since I was little, I have always been very creative and I didn't like monotonous things, so I would definitely like a job where I have a new challenge every day, I imagine myself in a laboratory or dedicating myself to art. I would like to be able to do both jobs in the future so I can have different perspectives and try new things. In the first one, I would like to work in pharmaceutical laboratories, I always liked that area and being able to work on research projects. I don't like to be around a lot of people, so I find it perfect for me. Regarding the second, I would like to be able to continue painting and portraying people as I do now. I would like to be able to teach and spread the people about the value of art. Although both jobs are very different from each other, I would need to have the ability to constantly innovate, be creative and think in abstract ways to achieve my goals. Salary is an important poi...

The Best Concert Ever

Imagen
The Best Concert Ever The best concert I ever been was Louis Tomlinson in May 16 of this year at the Movistar Arena.   Louis Tomlinson, an English singer and songwriter, was born December 24st 1991. He rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction. Following the group's hiatus in 2016, He released "Just Hold On" as a debut solo single in December 2016. The concert was very well organized and without problems, there were several lighting projects where we all participated, amazing! There were a lot of people, but I could see and hear perfectly. I went to the concert with my best friend, we couldn't believe we were finally seeing him, because of the pandemic we had to wait 3 years to finally go see him. I liked that each song had a specific color of light, when my favorite song "Defenceless" played, the whole stadium turned blue, I was very happy to live that moment with my favorite person. My best memory was when he started interacting with the...

A Country You Would Like To Visit

Imagen
Louvre Museum Hello everyone! Today I’m going to tell you about an incredible place that I would like to visit. I have wanted to travel to Francia since I was 15 years old. The idea comes when I started to learn about art theory, drawing and pigments. Over the time I meet people on the internet who shared their life in art academies, it was incredible and beautiful. The first thing that caught my attention was the great value that the community had towards art and the great variety of materials that were in the art stores. In Chile the materials are very difficult to find and too expensive. Sennelier art store I would like to visit the Louvre Museum, is the world's most-visited museum, and a historic landmark in Paris, France. It's the home of some of the best-known works of art, including the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo. Amazing! If I have the opportunity, I would like to study art with a focused on human anatomy and visit as many art stores as possible. I hope I...
